Botswana Agate is a form of Agate mined in Africa. It is typically shades of brown, gray and white and has many circular bands on its surface that appear to form a pattern that looks like an eye (hence its nickname Eye Agate). Sometimes pieces of Botswana Agate can be pink, purple or apricot colored. Looks very similar to geodes.

Use in healing: One of Botswana Agate’s primary uses is fending off the “evil eye”, when carried regularly. It is also a wonderful stone for increasing fertility, sensuality and passion. It would make a perfect Valentine’s Day gift. It is also good at energizing one’s creativity, and making Universal Love easier to feel - perfect for helping sensitive and lonely people.
